We get plenty of puzzled looks when we mention "Pelagic Software". Some people have a hard time pronouncing it, so lets start there. For those of you who like to consult the dictionary, here is the entry for the word pelagic.

There is such a vast amount of information available, it can be overwhelming to capitalize on the oportunities that are out there. We see so many businesses that are not taking advantage of the tools that are available today. As a result, our main focus is using technology to build tools that make your digital presence on the internet more relevant. Whether it is a content managment system, a custom web application, a mobile application, or search engine optimization, we will customize a solution that makes sense for your business.
Who we are?
George Dickinson, Founder, graduated from Washington and Lee University with a BS in Computer Science and has been developing web applications for the past 12 years. He has a passion for system architecture and development using open source solutions. In recent years, George's interest in the business side of IT has increased. He gets great satisfaction from working with clients to build the right solution for the right price. In his spare time, you will most likely find George on the tennis court or with a fishing pole in his hand. It is no coincidence that the name of his company is "Pelagic Software" which alludes to his passion for fishing and marine life.
